My story begins…

My story begins with my own journey of reinvention.

The COVID pandemic and global events have completely turned the world upside-down, disrupting many lives. People from all walks of life suddenly faced a crossroads at work and home due to unexpected and difficult circumstances.
Not that long ago, I found myself at that same crossroads. After 34 years as a corporate executive in human resources, I lost my role due to the business impacts of the pandemic.

Like so many others, I felt the stages of grief and loss. It was a period of confusion and fear as I was uncertain what I could do next. I wasn’t ready to retire, and I didn’t want to go on autopilot back to another corporate job at this stage of my life. So, I chose to adjust and do a lot of soul-searching. But, strangely enough, this was a blessing in disguise, as it inspired me to reinvent myself!

I decided to leave the corporate world and use my experience to serve a wider group of people who needed help navigating unexpected personal change. So, I started my own business in 2021 by launching Reinventing You. I chose to dedicate my life’s work to helping people like you rebound from disruptive change and create a new, more inspiring future. Thus, a Reinvention!

With my knowledge of personal development, change management, and emotional intelligence, I discovered a process that held promise. Through that process, I guide people like you:

• Reflect on your natural talents and abilities
• Let go of what no longer serves you
• Create a new beginning of hope and possibility for you.

I have found this to be the process that has worked for me. It takes work, but it takes you out of the default mindset of only looking for another job to prepare for your best future. You are worthy of so much more with your unique talents.
With the model of change I use, uniquely applied to the specific needs of each individual or leader, you have the leverage to call your shots. The outcome will be the best person you can be, and your work will use your core strengths. You can find work that reflects who you are and perform in a way that may be different from how you’ve used your skills before.

I understand how painful it is to have your entire life uprooted because of an unexpected life crisis. I have first-hand experience with the fear, insecurity, and confusion many of you feel. But I’m here to tell you that there is hope! At The Reinvention Architect, I provide expert coaching, advisory services, and learning resources to help you reconnect with your natural talents and add value in different ways.

I’ll help you adopt a healthy, optimistic, and resilient mindset that’ll make you bulletproof against the fiercely competitive nature of the workforce. Since my discovery and reinvention began, I have added another product using my formula for reinvention. I call this Reinventing Us, where we partner with small to midsize companies on their journey of reinvention. In the revolution of work today, from hybrid and remote work to The Great Resignation and Quiet Quitting, many companies have lost their culture and spirit.

I work with leaders and organizations to reinvent themselves by reflecting on their company stories, refocusing on the strengths of their people, and reclaiming the culture that inspires the best performance.
All told, The Reinvention Architect was formed from this evolution. All based on my original story, my professional experience, and my discovery of the power and promise of reinvention.
